Liz Kremzier, MS, DVM, CVA
Dr. Liz Kremzier grew up in New Hampshire. She started volunteering for her family veterinarian when she was eleven years old, and continued working there until she went away to college. After spending two years in Europe, Liz transferred back home to the University of New Hampshire where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. After graduating, Liz came to Colorado and earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Sciences and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.
Liz has also completed training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture through the Chi Institute, and is a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Dr. Kremzier is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, and participates regularly in continuing education offered by these organizations.
Liz and her husband Larry moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2003. They live in Carbondale with their two children Oliver and Callista, Labrador Retriever named Twist of Fate, and a menagerie of other furry, hoofed, feathered and scaled pets. Liz is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care to pets and their families. Liz enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, bicycling, skiing, hiking, playing ice hockey and gardening.
