Dr. Liz Kremzier
Dr. Liz Kremzier is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care to all varieties of pets and their families.
Dr. Kremzier grew up in New Hampshire. She started volunteering for her family veterinarian when she was eleven years old, and continued working there until she went away to college. After spending two years in Europe, Liz transferred back home to the University of New Hampshire, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. After graduating, she came to Colorado and earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Sciences and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.
Dr. Liz has also completed training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture through the Chi University, and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.
Dr. Kremzier is a member of several professional organizations including: the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She participates regularly in continuing education offered by these organizations.
Liz and her husband, Larry, moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2003. They live in Carbondale where they have raised two children and live with two Labrador Retrievers named Twist of Fate and Tinker, and a menagerie of other furry, hoofed, feathered and scaled animals. When not caring for animals, Liz enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, bicycling, skiing, hiking, playing ice hockey and gardening.
