Veterinarians

 

 

Liz Kremzier - MS, DVM, CVA

Dr. Liz Kremzier

Dr. Liz Kremzier is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care to all varieties of pets and their families.

Dr. Kremzier grew up in New Hampshire. She started volunteering for her family veterinarian when she was eleven years old, and continued working there until she went away to college. After spending two years in Europe, Liz transferred back home to the University of New Hampshire, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. After graduating, she came to Colorado and earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Sciences and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.

Dr. Liz has also completed training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture through the Chi University, and is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

Dr. Kremzier is a member of several professional organizations including: the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She participates regularly in continuing education offered by these organizations.

Liz and her husband, Larry, moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2003. They live in Carbondale where they have raised two children and live with two Labrador Retrievers named Twist of Fate and Tinker, and a menagerie of other furry, hoofed, feathered and scaled animals. When not caring for animals, Liz enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, bicycling, skiing, hiking, playing ice hockey and gardening.

Sarah Moore - CVT

Sarah Moore - LVT

After growing up in rural central Wisconsin, Sarah obtained her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Madison Area Technical College in 2007. She has since worked with exotics, wildlife, and small animals in veterinary medicine. Sarah loves working with all types of animals and is committed to providing a Fear-Free experience as a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional.

In 2009, Sarah felt the call to come to Colorado with her partner, Chad, and their now 15-year-old Bichon Frise, Rocky. Since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2016, Sarah and Chad have enjoyed mountain life and being away from the chaos of the city.

When not nursing animals, Sarah enjoys gardening, skiing, hiking, video games, and the joy of all things geeky.

Rileigh Zalinski - Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant

Rileigh was born and raised in New Castle CO and moved to Glenwood Springs in 2013.  She graduated from Glenwood Springs High School where she realized her interest in veterinary medicine and desire to pursue a career in the veterinary field.  Rileigh is currently attending Colorado Mountain College and you can find her either helping clients or assisting the doctors in the clinic.  In her free time, you can find her spending time with friends, playing sports, and enjoying just being outdoors.

Annalisa Puckett - Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant

Annalisa was born and raised in Aspen CO. She decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine after watching her mother care for their own animals. She will be attending school at CSU in the fall with hopes to become a LVT and earning a certification in equine rehabilitation. In her free time, Annalisa enjoys dirtbiking with family, spending time with her friends, and animals.
